Archetypal Perfection

There are two archetypes of perfection that our psyches are guided by: Saturn and Neptune.

Saturn’s perfection can literally be touched because it is of physical reality. But the issue with Saturn is that no matter how perfect something is, it will never be perfect enough. It’s the role that Saturn plays in forcing us to materialize perfection.

On the other hand, Neptune’s perfection can only be spiritually felt because it lives in the transcendental realm. The subtly deceptive lure of Neptune is that once perfection is experienced, one can fall into the trap of chasing it by escaping material reality.

The best way to participate with Neptune’s perfection is to become closer to Saturn’s perfection. The merging of matter and spirit—Ideal perfection (Neptune) transmuting into Real perfection (Saturn). Perfection then, will live in the in-between, allowing itself to be imperfectly perfect.
