Entrepreneurial Lure for Philosophy
The deeper I go into entrepreneurship, the more I find myself yearning for philosophy.
It's the raw encounter with material reality through entrepreneurship that is pushing me into the tender arms of the philosopher.
The idealism, the imaginative spirit, and the enigma of consciousness has me wrapped around its philosophical finger.
Oh philosophy, you're such a dazzling temptation...
But if I fall completely under your spell, what happens to matter?
The soul will be sucked out of it, and what will be left is perhaps just unintelligible stuff.
And you see, I can't let that happen.
Matter has to be infused with spirit, and vice versa.
So it's important for the entrepreneur to not fully give in to these temptations.
The entrepreneur has to be laser-focused on making sh*t happen. In the end, it's the entrepreneur that is the alchemist.
The entrepreneur produces the philosopher's stone as a gift, for none other than the philosopher.
This Magnum Opus is the treasure of philosophy itself.
To revel in the work of one's own making.
This is the way of the philosopreneur.
